Sarri expecting too much of Kante? [Picture: Getty]
The small and shy France international has been one of the best midfielders in recent times. The world continues won with him in the midfield force France is a very strong proof of that.
However, with Sarri at the head of affairs, there seems to be a new role forming Kante. While the player was used to tracking back, helping either the defense and distributing the ball to the forwards, Sarri requires N'golo to shoot. Thus is the somewhat similar to the role that Marek Hamsik had been given while Sarri was at Napoli. However, Hamsik already had a number of goals under his belt but Kante is not a goalscorer. The players has only ever managed two goals a season. Thus looks like asking for too much.
Kante is not used to playing the number 8 role and it remains to be seen if Sarri would adapt to the way the player does his workouts or Kante would have to improve on his shooting accuracy.
Liverpool are just footsteps away and it remains to be seen what tactic Sarri would use to get the best out of Kante because thusly isn't work quite well enough.
