It is no news that Messi and Ronaldo present one of the greatest rivalry in football in recent years. This rivalry was further strengthened by the arrival of Ronaldo at Madrid some 9 seasons ago.
In the recent weeks, Ronaldo has been seen to join Juventus, leaving football fans astonished mostly by the fact that they were not ready for the end of such fierce rivalry.
It seems as though the rivalry may bebfar from over as Italian giants Inter Milan has indicated interested in landing Messi.
Speaking to Tuttosport, Marco Tronchetti Provera, the CEO of Pirelli (Inter Milan's sponsors) said "I hope that Suning, once Financial Fair Play will allow it, can make a huge signing.
"Messi? How can you say no to Messi?"
This means that they will be activating his €700 buyout clause as Messi is currently signed to Barcelona till 2022.
Let's hope this deal goes through so Italian fans can also have a first hand taste of one of footballs greatest rivalry.
I doubt if Messi is ready to leave the nou camp or if they would let him go, plus there is the hefty wages. Messi ain't going anywhere anytime soon
