Although he might not have been the one who authored the tweets, it was very likely that he was the one who provided the private information with which these tweets were spiced up.

The last straw that broke the camel's back was hearing his wife use those details in critiquing his rival colleagues and players as well.

He had to resign on Thursday despite the fact that there was no determination by the law firm running the independent review that the Twitter accounts which while acting anonymous, trashed some of his fellow executives and players as well, was run or operated by him.

It also could not be determined if he was even aware of the existence of the accounts. However, that the accounts defended him from criticisms made by the sports media and fans made him culpable.
