Everton's goalkeeper, Jordan Pickford is set to be offered a new bumper deal in a bid to deter distractors and keep him in the club.
Pickford made a string of nice saves for England in the world cup which has made many clubs pitch for his service. The most tempting of them is Chelsea who are looking for a replacement for Real Madrid-bound Courtois.
Real sold Ronaldo for €100m and so have money to spend on a top-class goalie. Courtois, on his own has talked about his desire to head back to Spain, if anything, to be with his daughters.
Chelsea though, wants to have a replacement for him before leaving and have targeted the Everton shotstopper as their number one target.
Everton will do anything to prevent Pickford from leaving but Chelsea could turn to relegated Stoke City's goalkeeper, Jack Butland.
