According to reports from Spanish news outlet, El Chiringuito de Jugones, the West London club has accepted Madrid's offer for the goalkeeper.
Real Madrid has been looking for a replacement at the goalpost since Casillas left in 2014. They even tried to lure de Gea from Manchester United in 2015 but the deal went stale due to fax error on transfer deadline day.
Now, with Ronaldo gone from the club and some good money made fro the sale of the player, Real Madrid are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2018/2019 season.
Courtois has expressed his desire to go back to Spain most especially to reunite with his daughters who are living in Spain.
Chelsea has reportedly agreed to a deal which could be worth 8in the region fo 35 million pounds.
Could Courtois, who won the golden glove at the just concluded Russia 2018 world cup, be the ideal man to man the real Madrid post?
