The boss of the reds have said that it may take something mores than what Manchester City did last term to win the Champions league this season.
Liverpool currently sits at 48 points after beating Wolves 2-0. It was a very tough match as Wolves were in form having won theory last three matches and moved up to seventh on the log.
It took goals from Mo Salah and Virgil Van Dijk to seal the victory for their reds who will go into their Christmas as log leaders. Eight out of nine times, the team leading on Christmas goes on to win the league. However, in 2013/2014, Liverpool were log leaders but failed to pick up the title. This season could be different however.
They have improved theory defence and Van Dijk is proving to be worth every penny the club paid for him. Salah has discovered form again and is currently there league's highest goalscorer. Liverpool could win it this season.
