The Bayern Munich goal poacher had been in the news during the summer for a possible move away from the German giants.
The player had for long been targeted by Real Madrid but the move always was failed to happen. With the departure of Ronaldo, it must have felt like the time was finally right for Lewandowski to move but the deal never pulled through. Bayern Munich were reluctant two shift position on their decision not to allow the player leave.
Real's policy makes for the signing of players with Galactico status and Lewandowski is the player who can fit in. He's scored 150 spread over four seasons. This however didn't happen.
It was definitely disappointing for the 30-year old who had even fired his agent in preparation for the deal with Madrid, a more competent agent needed to push for a good deal.
Caesary Kucharski has however revealed that Real Madrid never considered Lewandowski as first choice replacement and complained that Lewy became too concerned about the money.
