WHY DOESN’T SOLARI USE ISCO OFTEN?

It has become evident that the new manager has issues with the Spaniard. Isco is a growing personality in the Real Madrid dressing room, one that several young players now look up to. Under Lopetegui, the midfielder had enough game time and played, often starting, in nearly all the games that he was fit. With Lopetegui gone, the case has changed. He has found less playing time than most senior players and even though the initial thought we had was the injury that Isco was recuperating from, the player played during the international break for Spain in their two matches and there wasn’t any complains.

Isco only came on as a substitute in the game against Eibar with barely eighteen minutes to go. The team was already 3 goals down and was already going to lose before he came in. hence, the results can’t be said to be his fault. We know that Isco is proud and doesn’t always respect the senior players but Solari would have to reconsider as Isco is perhaps, Madrid’s most creative player right now.
