The former Manchester United ‘super sub’ was brought back to the pitch albeit as a manager. He has gotten the ball running immediately and has won five games in a row. The players are smiling again and things are working well.
It’s been all good vibes until a bigger challenge comes on. The big test will be on Sunday when Manchester United would take on Tottenham. Everyone is waiting for that game. For Solskjaer, it would be a test of how good he really is as a coach.
Tottenham would be sporting some tired legs and this may be an advantage to United as they could win that encounter. However, Spurs is going to prove a tough nut to crack as they have some of the most in-form players right now.
Solskjaer is looking to keep the job as United manager and would want to land a top-four spot in that regard. It’s the same ambition that White Hart cronies have. That’s why it is going to be a thrilling encounter.
Even if the powers that be at old Trafford decide that Ole isn’t good enough, he will be sure to land a top job at one of the Premier league clubs. But, for now, his attention would be to keep his side winning to increase his chance of getting the job.
