It seemed as though the rain did not approve of what Schwartzman was doing to Nadal as the heavens opened and the rains began, thereby disrupting the former's impressive performance in the match.

The second set soon began and the Argentine climbed ahead, garnering a 3-2 lead before the rain started, thereby forcing a break.

The second set had already seen him break Nadal's serve on two occasions and will be serving once the match resumes.

The 10-time champ has been taken by surprise by the power play of Schwartzman who has already posted a remarkable 26 winners in contrast to just 8 by Nadal.
