1540240197_images_(1).jpegThe Uefa Champions League Champions are currently going through a tough time, it has been proven after losing four matches and a draw in their last five fixtures both in the Spanish La liga and the Uefa Champions League fixtures.
The Spanish League giant suffered another embarrassing defeat against Levante on Saturday afternoon after conceding two goals before they could pull one back in the second half of the match. Many reasons can be associated with the team poor form but above all, the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo has starting showing up since his move to the Italian League. The team looked good without him initially but gradually things started going bad and at this point, it is worse.
Before the international break, Real Madrid lost to Alaves in the league match. Fans believed the team was exhausted due to the Uefa champions League fixture before the match but another loss against Levante at the Santiago Bernabue Stadium is a sign of a big problem in the team.
Real Madrid are gradually losing their spot among the league leaders, they are currently ranked 5th behind Atletico Madrid. It is very unusual of Real Madrid to go without a win in five straight matches.
Real Madrid conceded very early in the game, Morales opened the score line for the visitors in the seventh minute. The home team looked relaxed, probably they have underrated Levante before the match. Roger Marti converted from the spot kick to double Levante lead in the 13th minute, meaning Real Madrid conceded twice in 13th minutes of action before they could get themselves back into the game.
In the second half of the game, Marcelo one of the players that has given a lot of effort in the match finally broke the Madrid fan silence with fine strike in the 72nd minute. Everyone expected a comeback after Marcelo goal but Levante did a great job in the defense. Real Madrid dominated so much but unfortunately couldn’t get a victory or a draw after ninety minutes of action.
My opinion for the Real Madrid squad is a need for striker, the team looks good from the defense. The Midfielder are also doing a great job but the striker haven’t been at their best , they have only scored one goal in five matches and that is a very poor statistics for a big team like Real Madrid.
