Today I had the Death Splinter for my daily quest. I finished pretty quick and decided to power my way up to Gold II. I made Gold II within 2 battles. I opened my chest and got these rewards... 
This game is almost not worth playing... 1 reward card and 100 DEC instead of 7 cards... 2 more useless potions that bring me bad luck and 100 DEC crystals... I would rather have the cards! These rewards aren't really worth my time... 0.01 card and 0.6 worth of DEC... I can't even buy a rare card for that.

Not to rain on your pessimism but DEC price still free falling while steem rising. I just hope somehow new rules or new rewards will make it better. Or have chance to earn Orbs or packs.

I'm in the same boat with you. I just made it to gold 3. Here's what I got 2 common cards (I burn them), 2 legendary potions (I don't care for), and 45 DEC.
