Investment In Splinterlands – Testing The Newly Introduced Credits

I mentioned the other day that the Credit payment system has been added to the Splinterlands games but I hadn’t use it then. So today I decide to make use of it and see how it goes. Remember, with the Credit payment system you don’t need to go through the process of using your fiat to a crypto first, say Bitcoin and the using your Bitcoin to buy Steem/SBD and then using the Steem/SBD to then buy DEC, Monsters, Potions or others stuff. I can’t tell you the cost of transaction one is charged going through this particular path. With the Credits method you actually buy direct, exchanges don’t act as middle men hence they don’t get anything.

One other thing the Credits system is going to do is that it is going to allow more users who are not into crypto stuff or familiar with them make payments directly with fiat via (PayPal) without needing all the crypto conversion stuff.

It is pretty much easy to buy Credits from the Splinterlands website, just click the plus sign and a popup box bringing up the options of how many Credits you want to buy and the option you want to with PayPal or Crypto. In this case I placed an order for 10000 Credits.

I paid using PayPal and it hit my account in no time.

I intend buying some out of print and almost out of print common cards from the Splinterlands shop. I am buying them when I notice a price drop so for today I am going to buy the Undead Minotaur, I am currently at level 8 and want to move it to level 9 which will need additional 74 cards. I have other monsters I need to push up too.

I purchased $1.18 worth

That is enough to hit my target of getting my Undead Minotaur at level 9.

So, I am happy to confirm that the Splinterlands managers have done a great job with this, kudos guys.

My Daily Quest

I got the Death splinter today and like yesterday it was a tough day at the battle field. I managed to complete my daily quest still retaining my position in the Diamond I league.

Rewards day 125

I didn’t get a Gold, Legendary or Epic card but I did get a DEC opening with 1324 DECs. Wooo hoooo! It felt really great seeing that. I also got two Rare cards, some Common cards, potions and some other small amounts of DECs as rewards.
