In fact, I'm back in Gold already. I made it to Diamond and will be getting 40 loots chests in a few days when the season is over, but I started losing a lot more once I got there. Why? Because I don't have max level cards, but the training wheels come off completely once you hit Diamond. You'll find yourself facing opponents with max level cards on a somewhat regular basis.
Now that I'm here, I can't even finish a quest. Maybe if I lose enough matches, I'll sink low enough in the leagues to be competitive again.
