Hello everyone! What an exciting week it has been in Splinterlands and the Steem blockchain as a whole! The exciting news of Justin Sun purchasing Steemit and watching the AMA this past Saturday was the biggest news all week! You can view Splinterland's response to it HERE. You can also watch Aggroed's video watching the AMA HERE. This was all happening during Splinterlands season-ending so I was battling of course, lol! I was also excited to end up in the Top 50 at season-ending! I hope you all had a great season-ending too!

Splinterlands weekly update for Altcoin Buzz

There are almost 5K members in Discord. Almost 1K members in Telegram and Facebook will be pushing the 500 mark soon.

Recently, @randolphrope shared @bittrio's YouTube video from last year about Splinterlands. I always love watching Bittrio's daily Splinterlands videos! He is an awesome player and should be a pro Comedian! Then @sinstry replied about how Randolph gave him some Dragon cards long ago to help him out in the game. This is what he said:

I agree! This is a great community, to say the least! I love it. Many players in the community have helped others along the way. Sharing their love of the game with others is a great thing to do! I think we all love playing Splinterlands so much that we have a common bond. When you battle as much as I do, it is easy to get along well with others sharing your passion for this game. It is the only game that I play! There are so many benefits and ways to earn money in Splinterlands which makes it highly addictive! I will see you all next week and good luck to you all with the 10K DEC meme contest! I am looking forward to seeing some awesome Splinterlands memes and laughing a lot! I am glad you are here and I went into Patient First (an emergency clinic) and I could not believe it was all over the sign-in sheet asking 3 questions if you have been exposed to China traveling or just a person from China, etc. and all the staff were wearing masks, etc. Looks like you were right about it! I thought of you when I was signing in! Hopefully they find a cure soon- I read they did but I don't think that was accurate. Thanks for being here in Splinterlands!

My initial Corona-virus updates were meant to be partly humorous with an eye toward the possibility of seriousness. President Trump announced that a cure was imminent, his pronouncement seems to be a non-sequitur about Ebola. A Corona-virus vaccine is at the earliest many months away. It's like finding a vaccine for the common cold. (I have a morbid interest in infectious diseases and microbiology) I wouldn't worry; this is going to be like the seasonal flu. Thanks for your reply.
