SPUD 007 - A Blockchain's Best Friend

In this action thriller, secret Agent SPUD 007 and A.O.S. (Agents of Spud) will attempt to counter the pipeline of Steem coins heading to the exchanges after a massive Power Down. SPUD 007 and the A.O.S. are on the hunt for Steem Coins that came from the (pre-) Mines of Steemland and are now being smuggled into the world markets via the cartel known as "The X-Changes."

The Steem coins from the (pre-) Mines was controlled by the two original founders of Steemland, DEEN and NAAD. Unfortunately the two had a falling out followed by the crypto-winter. Blockchains the World over were hit with massive dumps, including the Steem Blockchain. NAAD left Steemland to create other virtual lands, as he had before, swearing to destroy DEEN and Steemland.

DEEN made it easy for NAAD when the crypto-winter hit. During the long stretch of crypto-winter, DEEN turned into an Ice King. He froze over and with the advent of crypto-spring, melted away, Never to Be Heard From Again?? In the meantime, many of the Steem Coins that came from the (pre-) Mines of Steemland that had been Powered Up, were now being Powered Down and flooding the World markets, crashing the Steem coin value and endangering the Steem Blockchain.

SPUD 007 and the Agents of SPUD have volunteered to do what they can to counter the massive power downs taking place on the Steem Blockchain. The AOS has taken an oath to do monthly power ups and to uphold the core beliefs of the Steem Blockchain; decentralization and the empowerment of every single person on Earth!

Back to reality and What is SPUD really?

SPUD stands for STEEM POWER UP DAY, and SPUD 007 is a Steem secret agent helping to keep the Steem blockchain safe and operational while helping to get the Steem price to the Moon!
Ok, ok, SPUD 007 is NOT a secret agent.

Instead, SPUD 007 is simply our Steem community's seventh time having a STEEM POWER UP DAY. The first SPUD event took place May 1st 2019, and has since gained support and popularity with the Steem community to where now we have prizes sponsored by other Steemians. At this point, we have prizes totaling around 11000 Delegated Steem Power along with other smaller prizes consisting of Steem Power, Steem coins, Steem Basic Income Levels (shares) and other prizes. There are around 20 prizes to be won, so plenty of winners for those that participate.

For those who still do not know what SPUD is, STEEM POWER UP DAY (SPUD) takes place the first day of every month.
On this day:

• We ask that Steemians that are able, to POWER UP any amount of STEEM they have on SPUD day.
• We ask Steemians that are currently Powering Down, to put a Stop on Powering Down for that Day, and if desired to commence the Power Down the following day.
• We ask that those that trade or sell Steem to Not Sell or Trade Steem on SPUD Day, but to do it the day before or after if possible.
• Also, to cancel any type of Sell Order on the Exchanges.
