We are just a couple of days away from the next SPUD. I'm not taking part but to support Steem and the cause, i'm powering up all my liquid Steem for the month.
Did an 83.80 steem power up. That works out to around a 3.5% power up on my previous base of around 2,400 SP.
Personally, locking Steem up helps to curb the of day-trading. Just lock it and forget. No temptation to sell if the price goes down only to regret when it goes back up.
Will I sell some eventually? Of course, if the prices sky-rockets to a level that makes absolutely no sense, we should sell some of our stake. Doing so would even be good for the system as it helps to curb irrational exuberance and a potential massive crash.
