What did I do today?

7th February 2019

🛁This is how I cared for my Health & Hygiene!🤩

Today, my mom made Sardine curry. I don't really like Sardines. But she put lots of potatoes and I ate most of them. Potatoes give you fiber, potassium, Vitamin C and Vitamin B6. Potatoes are carbohydrates and that gives me energy to dance.

🌳This is how I made my Environment shine!🏠

We had to put back everything that we took with us to my uncle's hotel. He gave us a bag of chocolates. It had mixed mini chocolates and nuts. I took the chocolate and the nuts out of the bag and then I did not waste the plastic bag. I kept the plastic bag so we can reuse it as a garbage bag.

🤝Here is how I was of service today!👍

I helped mummy wash the dishes. My brother did not wash his plate. I had to wash his plate for him. I was really disappointed in him. Because he is already 14 years old.

🎨 Here is how I had fun with my hobby! 🏈

I read a book. It was Geronimo Stilton. Geronimo is a book writer and the books are about his adventures. This time it was about his stage fright. I like his books. It is really fun to read.

👩🏻‍🎓 I discovered this about what I might want to be 👨🏻‍🎓

I learned how to peel a potato. It did not go so well. I wanted to help my mummy cook. I asked if I could help peel the potato. I tried and I cut myself. Mummy said there is an angle. I will try again next time.

🤔 My special thoughts about today 🤔

My grandfather came for lunch. He was telling stories about his friends and family. I like to hear people talking about their lives. He used me to recreate a scene and he was so emotional, he was a little rough. I must remember not to get to carried away when I share stories.
I also went to the Treasure Map to dig for treasure. I am nervous and excited. I wonder if I will get anything.

It sounds like you had an exciting day filled with family fun.

Those potato peelers can be a bit tricky at first, but I’m glad to hear you will be sticking with it and building up your potato peeling muscles. I bet your mum’s glad too!

Have you considered writing down some of your mum’s recipes? I think it’s something Jamie Oliver did as a kid, and look at him now.

I really enjoyed reading your post today @raynen. You have a nice, upbeat style to your writing.

Wow! This was a perfectly spectacular post!!! So many things you did today!!!! Do you know - I recently had some sardines, and hmmmmm they were in a can - and they tasted kinda like tuna fish! hahahaha Maybe because they were in a can? I don't know!

And... it's good that you are showing your brother how to clean his dishes! hehehe maybe he wants to be a monkee and earn some points for making his environment shine??? :)

Now.. hmmmm I went to the monkee map - and I didn't see your digs today! Now I need to go back and look because I just looked!!! hmmmm how did I miss them?

Let me go back and check again! :)

aha! I spied it! but i did answer :)

you have another free dig today! you never responded with the new tile that you wanted to have (since you dug up a "try again" tile!)

Hiya @raynen

Boy you sure had a busy day. I'd have to curl up and sleep for an hour or two after being that busy.

You don't like sardines? Wow.. I wish Shadows would give me some, being a kitty I love fish. Really glad you didn't just refuse to eat the curry though because you got those really healthy potatoes as well.

Good fo r you not only helping mom wash up but setting a good example for your brother, older brother too, teaching him that it's cool to clean up after yourself.

So I looked up Geronimo Stilton... that looks like a really cool series of books even if he's a mouse. I'll have to wonder next time I chase a mouse if I'm chasing Geronimo. Did you learn anything about stage fright when you read the book?

OH peeling potatoes. Shadows saw your story and started laughing.. not about you cutting yourself .. but she remembered a guy she knows who used to help peel about 100lbs of potatoes for meals and always managed to cut himself. He kept coming back and the crew that was peeling potatoes made sure they had bandages around for him.

That was a really good lesson about storytelling. Tell the story well but don't get too carried away or the message could get lost. I see @spunkeemonkee's comments .. looks like you got a $1 upvote (tip) and a free dig.. nice work!

Hi Hobo.

Smokey likes fish but he really likes chicken. Every time when there is fish or chicken on the table, he will jump on the table.

Mum really likes me cleaning stuff.

Not really, but the first day of my show, I had a stage fright. The tickets were sold out and there were like 500 seats. Maybe even more. It was really scary. I told my self that I have to keep going and do my best.

Maybe I will also get a lot of cuts when I peel potatoes.

I will try not to get carried away that much.
