This is a spy thriller, in some sense. :)

24 men from one country have spied for another in a third country. Their age ranges from 20-30. And they claimed to be students of madrassas in India's Uttar Pradesh. However, during the verification of their documents, they're found to be traveling with fake Aadhaar cards (India's national id system).

Where are these people from?

They originated from Bangladesh.

Whom are they working for?

They work for Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

Where have they been picked up from?

They have been picked up from Tripura (northeast India).

In the same month (May, 2018), India has heard a pro-Pakistan slogan in Assam (northeast India). And now, we have this case of 24 ISI operatives of alien origin caught from northeast. What will tomorrow bring forth, nobody knows.

Or was this all a propaganda cooked up by the govt for public consumption? Anything is possible. But one thing is for sure, and that is, the indigenous of northeast and their grievances have been perpetually sidelined no matter who's in power.
