Last night we had quite a fuss here in our street, but the "funny" part is that we barely notice all the apparatus, that was happening right next to us.
Nights are been quite calm since now in Portugal we have a curfew, between 11pm and 5am, in most councils, the country was divided in 4 different brackets according to the number of Covid-19 cases. Without expecting some firemen and policeman gather around the old ruined (almost collapsed) patio downstairs.
Unfortunately, according to what I learned about it someone got some "temporary insanity" and decided to torch the place up!
Fortunately, all was quickly finished and with no people getting hurt.
All this Covid-19\Pandemic situation is pushing people to the point of no return, specifically if they have already some mental illness of some kind.
This old patio is probably by now almost 100-year-old and is now been illegally occupied by squatters basically homeless or people with very low income (like clam fishermen), all this situation can for sure push less stable minds to the limit.
