Yesterday was my TWO YEAR Steemit Birthday!

Well that is a miracle. People have been dropping like flies around here.

Last year I had a lot to say about my time on the chain. So what can I possibly add another year in?

Thanks to hard forks and frustrations, I have dabbled on other chains this past year. Trybe, Weku, Narrative... but I always come back to Steemit. This place might be a HUGE cluster some (most) days, but it is home. The other sites still don’t compare. This is partly due to functionality. However, one main thing keeps me on Steemit.

The People!

We’ve exchanged gifts. Created art. Spent hours laughing into the night. Argued! Flirted 😍. Welcomed babies and visitors... Celebrated life’s milestones. Shared burgers (both edible and metallic). I’ve seen one of your filthy toilets (@blewitt) in person. We’ve supported each other through some losses, struggles and tears. We’ve given and received advice.

It turns out, Steemit is this big, dysfunctional, wonderful family.

That my friends is the best part of my two years on the chain.
