Alas, i have no new silver! However, i do have some thick-cut bacon and the fixins for, perhaps, my all-time favourite sandwich — the BLT!
I think i may have run-down my layering technique before, but i’ll include it again here because i believe in this theory more than i do clad-coinage, and i have only ever shared it once before. 😜😲😁🤣👍
So here it is: two slices of toast slathered in mayo. Bacon goes down in the fat first to be all the closer to the taste-buds. Then, the sugar (ketchup) on the bacon followed by the similar fruit (tomato). Then, lettuce on the top half to provide the bitter (in this case baby romaine hearts), but also, to insulate the toast from the sogginess of the tomato and ketchup.
This, in my humble opinion, is the proper and best way to make a BLT — try it!

No ketchup allowed on a BLT. And you double the bacon.
Toast mayo on each slice then 3 strips of bacon on each slice, campari tomatoes salted with himalyan pink salt to bring out the flavor and sweetness on one side, lettuce on the other side. 😊🙃😊
