Talking about science, science has really changed this world as well as the way we see things. Scientific research and discoveries has brought about a lot of innovative developments. One major setback with the scientific world is the availability of funding and this is a huge drawback as most of the scientific discoveries we have now cost fortunes and it is not easy to place hands on money like that. Science is never about a one-man show so to speak, innovations of the past were not achieved simply by the efforts and knowledge of a single individual; scientists often need to interact with other scientists, discuss ideas and may even need to collaborate with other scientists and come up with world changing innovations at the end of it all.
The blockchain technology is tapping into the science world with a new blockchain based platform, "Scienceroot".

Imagine having a platform that is science related, that helps with the necessary funding for various scientific research; funding being a major factor in scientific discoveries and not just the area of funding but creating room for anyone in the science community to attain the funding needed for research purposes and be free to interact with other scientists and even share research results and compare notes, a platform that facilitates scientific collaborations and even creates an avenue for scientists to publish their works. That platform is the "Scienceroot" Platform.
Why publishing?
We all know that ideas may never be recognized without proper dissemination to the world and it's the same for the science community as well. A scientist may have a world changing idea, ground-breaking innovation but that idea might never see the light of day except the world knows about it and what better way for the world to know about a research than excellent publicity.

Scienceroot essentially encompasses the full cycle of the scientific world and the cycle is never complete even with just one of the entities missing; the entities of the scientific life-cycle are collaboration, funding and ofcourse publishing.

Now we know why blockchain is been applied to the science world.
The first part of the Scienceroot platform is the blockchain based collaboration platform where researchers, scientists get to join hands with other scientists to come up with a ground-breaking innovation.

The second part is the blockchain based funding platform that ensures researchers and scientists all over the globe have access to funding for their scientific researches.

The third part is the blockchain based Scienceroot publishing framework which gives room for scientists and researchers to publish their findings and articles and get paid for publishing their works and whenever someone views their works and also enables contributors to be well compensated for their contributions.

Scienceroot would also incorporate a decentralized marketplace within the platform. This marketplace would review various scientists to the world and help market their abilities and knowledge. The function of the marketplace is to enable the rendering of services, be it the assistance with different projects of help with a research editing all without the need of a middle man.

Scienceroot Token.
The token that would be used within the Scienceroot ecosystem is the Science Token (ST). The Science Token has a total token supply of 500,000,000 ST from which 300,000,000 ST would be made available for sale, 15% of the total supply would be distributed to the founders, team, advisors and early contributors, 20% would be used for the Scienceroot fund, 2% for referral and 3% for bounty, airdrop and the community.

The Funds Generated from the Tokensale would be used as follows:
30% would be used for the software development, 40% for the business development, 15% for operations and services, 10% for reserve and miscellaneous, 5% would be used for legal fees.
