URETHRITIS( COMMON IN WOMEN)

Infection is by bacteria(more common in women) and leads to frequent painful passing of small quantities of cloudy urine having unpleasant odour,pains over the bladder; intense painful desire to pass urine even when bladder is empty.
MANAGEMENT AND TREATMENT
1.Drink a lot of water to produce adequate urine volume.
2.Septrin,two tablets twice daily or nitrofurantion( for 10-14 days) one tablets,four times daily that's 6-12-6-12,if symptoms don't respond within a few days go to hospital.This is espercially important for women to prevent ascension of infection to kidney.
