LETTERS TO J

                   A  POEM :

I could write your letters
with my apologies crested bold
I could offer you a sweater
but your feelings still won't remain cold

I could write a prose
when I first offered you a rose
to the point you rose
To be no longer noticed like a ghost

I could treat you right
again
but yet we would never see the light
Normalization would never be regained

You know I planted a seed
in you
Now everyone is like a weed
unwanted to you

I hope someday you finally let go
and your hate again never grows
Like the rhythms of allegro

I know you feel
so deeply and my name still rings a bell
Just one thing I'd like to tell
I would forever wish you heaven
no matter if you wish me hell.
