Obeying the laws of the land or obeying the laws of the government is a part of Christianity as long as we don't go against God's will.

Information going round now is, all gatherings above 20 persons should be avoided. While in churches, gatherings above 50 should be avoided. This law has led to mixed reactions on the part of some people as some are thinking, this is the time we need to gather in Church and pray, while some are thinking the devil wants to use this medium to close churches.

But, staying indoors for a while while waiting for the shadow of death (coronavirus covid 19) to passover, is in the Bible (Isaiah. 26:20).

Romans 13:1-2 says: "Obey the government, for God is the One who has put it there. There is no government anywhere that God has not placed in power. So those who refuse to obey the law of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow."

But, it is very much pertinent to know that the closing of the church building, is not the closing of the church itself. The Christian is the church. So, we can stay at home with our families, pray with all sincerity and humility of hearts, and i believe , God Almighty would answer us

A church is actually a gathering of two, three or more believers and not an edifice, or a 50 storey building or a golden structure. We could have a breath-taking structure, but, not a church! So, the Believers are the Churches.

...know ye not that your body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost?" this means you can even be alone and pray to God, he would answer you because, His Spirit dwells in you!
