GRATITUDE DAY 7 || TODAY IS BLESSED

While I sit here trying to type the words you're reading now, I open my heart to be grateful for Growth.

I have learnt so much within the course of the year and I've come to realize that one of man's most important virtue is Growth- all round growth. But the growth of the mind, I presume is the greatest of all forms of growth.

If you look around you today or right now, you'll notice that every single thing around you now was one time an imagination or dream in someone's mind. Everything the world has become today has been the product of the continuous growth and usage of the mind.

Today I'm grateful that my mind is growing. My hunger for a better life has forced me to a path where I have had to stretch my mind till its muscles begin to grow. Wait a minute, this is not me being boastful about my capabilities. It's far from it because I've come to realize I'm just starting and there is still more to cover in this journey that never ends.

Rather, I am grateful that I am continuously changing and metamorphosing into a better and sound man. I believe this is what the bible would refer to as the 'renewing of the mind'. In due season, my mind would begin to manifest and establish itself to produce a reality I'd be eternally grateful for.

This is my joy today, what are you grateful for my good friend? 😊

Hi morgan. I like your take on gratitude. I've experienced some growth too the last year, but mostly through pain , loss, you know, "the desert". Sometimes I feel bad but then I remember that I have to be grateful in every circumstance. “For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.” (1 Timothy 4:4-5 NIV).

Yes, that is true and it is lovely that you backed it up with the scriptures.

you see, we do not get happy in tough times because we are in tough time, rather we are grateful that it isnt a worse situation and that soon, we'd get out of that situation.

thanks for stopping by sir
