Priceless And Treasured

Mother sacrificed her life by bringing us into this world. She smiled at us even when we were not smiling, She understood our cries, she taught us how to walk, she taught us how to talk. All we had to do was play, eat and sleep.
"Some nights you wouldn't let me sleep", she said "you would cry and wake the rest of your siblings, and I'll have 5 more children to deal with". Mother is the sweetest woman I've ever known, she's strong, she's kind, hardworking, caring, forgiving and understanding. Mother wakes up early and cooked our meals, woke us up, gave us a shower, dressed everyone up for school, served our breakfast, walk us to dad's car and would wave at us till she wasn't in sight anymore. Mother had about 3 house keepers but she was very particular about her kids, she cooked our meals, got us ready for school and tucked us in at night. While the house keepers did other chores like washing, sweeping etc.
If we did wrong, mother would correct us with love and sometimes with cane,her shoes or turning stick lol. She spoke softly to us and NEVER used abusive words which made us respectful and cool headed.

We did our homework on time, played around the house and sometimes she would call us and tell us stories from long long ago. She used her stories to teach us to be respectful, kind and honest. Even when mother was sick she would act strong for us, she would do anything for her 6 children, she was unstoppable. Now we're all grown up but mother still cooks our favorite foods when we come home to visit her. She still reminds us that once we fitted into her laps and we were peeing on it and everyone would burst out laughing.......... such a sweet woman!.
Mother is the emotional backbone of the family, If there's a problem she is the strongest person to hold down the forte and we trusted her because we would tell her all the truth and she had her ways of making our troubles go away.
Mother helps us as we go through and it's challenges, she's always there anytime, anyday. she has been there for us from nursery school to university to graduation, never complaining. we're all grown up now and she still remains our adviser, our Chief Judge, our preacher, our counsel, our friend, our teacher, and most importantly OUR MOTHER.
Her unconditional love can never be replaced, she is everything to us and I am thankful that i have a Mother.
