Saturday, 20th, January 2018 marked another milestone for STACH- Steem Accelerator Hub. (A great way to start the Year!)
@stach launched a second hub in Uyo, the capital of akwa Ibom state, Nigeria.
STACH has been proving true to it's mission of decentralizing the offline by setting up hubs where people come to blog on steemit and also work together as a team.
STACH hubs provide power and free wi-fi for users. Another interesting feature is that people who have small businesses can display their products in the hub, where they accept steem and sbd as payment options.
Apart from the fact that the attendance was mind blowing, it was also very encouraging. Meeting so many steemians was so much fun!
Order of Events
After a short prayer,
@ejemai gave an opening speech
And the ribbon was cut!
- A whole lot of information was passed too.
@ejemai- talked about new Ideas and the Steem blockchain
@fisteganos: talked about making quality steemit posts
@gbenga: Talked on markdown editing and motivation
@NairaDaddy: talk on #AIR-CLINIC and definition of some steemit terms
@destinysaid, @Misterakpan: Talked about curation and how to meet the criteria
@eurogee: told us the inspiration behind @Euronation and other inspiring motives.
@cryptonAfrica: introduced us to cryptocurrency trading and investing
@samstickkz, @annieben: talked about the Uyo Hub and its future
- The cake was cut!
This is how it looked on the inside :)
Actually, I made the cake :)
I really wanted the cake to be awesome, so I made three different kinds of cake. Chocolate cake, red velvet cake, and vanilla cake.
In between the layers, I added a little butter icing.
Sorry for digressing, I just had to talk about the cake that took two nights to finish.
- Some light refreshment was shared and everyone proceeded to snap pics till some people had no more space in their memory cards, and for the others, their battery couldn't take it.
Watch out for the next location of Stach Hub
Interesting. The cake is beautiful. :)

Hello @sussan,
It's so lovely to be at a Steemit meetup environment. It's where live is shared among steemians and knowledge is impacted on how to develop oneself. It's also the place to promote steemit to the world and seeing as you're promoting it among Nigerians, it's just so beautiful. We are watching out for the next one. Upvoted and followed. i can't wait to see your next post.
I'm keeping a catalogue record of steemit Meetup in all countries across the globe and I update it weekly. I just did the one for lat week yesterday. Be sure to check it out and upvote.

Cheers and regards!

This is so cool. Having all those great men in be men in one place is a blessing. I really wished I was there. I've resteemed the post to let everyone see that we are taking over the country, more like an economy run on steem.✌✌
