BETRAYAL, INK AND TEARS
I have come to listen your words, again, short words ...
After meeting you like the flower and silk; now you have thorns
Even if you bite your lips as usual, it would make more sense to talk
But the note you left on your pillow, it's just ink, it's just pages
While you spill yourself in tears over your farewell letter
While pride is your weapon that ends both
When a word dominates you and your hand shakes when writing it
"BETRAYAL" is the phrase you will never mention, it is the reason for your absence
We promised to be together in this same place every afternoon
We made a pact on this gray stone
Now silver butterflies will never come back to rest on your skin
Our home is empty, your betrayal is mixed between Ink and Tears
And every night you stand on the ruins of what you took care of
And each phrase comes back to you as an echo of voice, an echo, echo ...
Betrayal is mute when it suits you and is blind to not be seen
Today you did not return home, you have left a heart full of thorns and a betrayal spilled on your letter
