2018 Stackingoals - Update

A little early to be doing an update on this, but I have 2 new incredible things to share. Part 1 is thanks to @coolbowser and @steembay. Part 2 is thanks to the generosity of #steemsilvergold's community more specifically @stnwllstrtgc. My stackingoals post for 2018 can be found here.

This was kind of a cheating goal, but my #10 Steemit round showed up in the mail a week or two ago. Was planning on doing this post earlier but decided to wait and combine this with Part 2 down below. I am so excited I was able to get #10 for this is my favorite number. Hoping this locks in the #10 coin for the 2018 rounds and beyond, but that's up to @phelimint

If you haven't checked out @steembay yet I suggest you go and have a look. I'm really enjoying the daily updates they provide and the thought of buying something new with Steem. Other than some initial troubles of getting my address to @coolbowser due to some issues with steemit.chat, the entire process was relatively painless and would recommend.

Some things I would like to see implemented into @steembay somehow is user ratings. If they sold something and the buyer verifies receiving the item allow the sellers to show successful sales somehow. The other option is to set-up intermediaries that will hold the funds until the item is verified received. While neither is perfect, I think this will help prevent scams in the future.

This one was a complete suprise. Shortly after posting my 2018 stacking goals I received a message from @stnwllstrtgc asking for my mailing address. I don't normally just give out my address randomly, but seeing as how he is a stacker in the #steemsilvergold community my interest was peaked.

Needless to say a few messages back and forth on discord I found out a package for me should be arriving Saturday (a few days ago). Saturday morning came and I went out and saw the package that was awaiting for me. I opened it up and this note was the first thing I saw.

Another one of my 2018 stacking goals is crossed off the list! While I could say I'm 5 ozs to my 12 oz goal for 2018 I think I'm going to pay it forward to someone I've been following for a while with a 2017 Steem Silver Round. I don't think this person has the Steem Silver Round yet and hope they'll be pretty excited about getting one.

Thanks #steemsilvergold for being such an awesome community and helping out a newbie such as myself! I was worried this was going to be the hardest for me to obtain, because I'm really hoping to buy all my silver this year using only Steem!
