The Evolvement of StakingLab

Background, in 2017 proof of stake coins got more and more popular and many investors were interested in the opportunity to generate a passive income by holding a certain coin and earning interest.

In order to get the most out of it it was necessary to hold as many coins as possible (see below: compounding effect). This was only affordable for investors with deep pockets, the regular investor (with a limited budget) fell behind. On this account the idea was born to join forces and to create pools of coins in order to compete with the whales (sometimes just dolphins).

This required a high amount of trust and a sophisticated set of rules to minimize the risk of fraud or embezzlement. The same applies for masternodes or more precise shared masternodes. In order to match all these requirements StakingLab filled the gap in the market and created a unique service to provide pools for coins and shared masternodes. In early 2017 they started their service and from there on they constantly expanded their portfolio of services:

Staking Pools

Proof of Stake offers the ability to make use of the compounding effect, the coins generate earnings based on a certain percentage and the amount of coins you hold, the earnings received are then reinvested in order to generate their own earnings. So, the more coins you hold, the higher is the chance for earnings and the compounding effect increases.
For this purpose, your wallet needs to stay online 24/7.

Masternodes

For a Masternode you need to hold a certain amount of coins in order to run a masternode and to participate on the masternode rewards.
Masternode in short, is a full node of a blockchain where the operator of the node gets financially rewarded.
Such as a staking wallet your masternode needs to be online 24/7 on a VPS or similar device.

Instanodes

Instanodes are a special offer by StakingLab, the investor can deposit and leave the node like a Staking Pool. Earning starts immediately without any waiting or setup time.
Same goes for instant withdrawal of coins.

Reviewed Coins

All coins listed in the Lab are reviewed by the team or experts they work together with. In this case Staking Lab tries to ease the workload of every investor and picks the most promising projects for their customers and tries to protect them from the rotten apples in the market.

Active Community

Beside the already mentioned services StakingLab has to offer, there is also a very active community around this project, which provides support, information and a room for discussions on all topics around cryptocurrencies and blockchain (see links below).

Of course all these features can't be for free, StakingLab doesn't exist from thin air and the love of their investors only. Therefore, following fees apply for the named services:

FeesStaking PoolsMasternodesInstanodes

Currently StakingLab provides a variety of 42 coins (increasing), all of these coins were reviewed upfront in order to add the most value to the investor's hard earned money.
As already mentioned all coins provided by StakingLab are based on either Proof of Stake (POS) or Masternodes (MN). The range of varies from more commonly known coins like PIVX, a digital currency focused on privacy and security with a market capitalisation ranging around 100 million USD (July 2018) and so called "small caps" (e.g. PHORE) or "micro caps" (e.g. ALQO) with a market capitalisation from several million USD down to below 1 million USD. Most recently they added Bulwark (BWK) and Know your Developer (KYD), both rather new masternode projects with a marketcap of just a couple of million USD.

In order to be as convenient as possible StakingLab developed a web service in order to give the user the possibility to manage and monitor their investments. The web-platform is self-explanatory and improves on regular basis.

Nevertheless, StakingLab provides a varitey of support to get everyone started as smooth as possible:

  1. Written user manual to guarantee a jump-start combining all important features (Download: https://pool.stakinglab.io/download_user_manual)

  2. Complete video guide on community staking and masternodes

  3. Active community in many different languages on Discord (https://discord.gg/FpePtZD)

  4. Active members of the Lab also on Discord, Twitter or Facebook

The service orientation of StakingLab is one of the columns the project is built on, just get in touch with them and feel free to ask. Where? See and follow the links above.

Their mission is to support every investor achieving their goals

If you are interested in the idea of passive income via proof of stake and/or shared masternodes give StakingLab a try.
