Comedy shines a light on the darkest parts of society

I promise at some point, I'll move past George Carlin. But he made so much sense that it will be hard. This a great follow up to his piece on "stuff". These two bits were done over a decade apart and it has been almost 20 years since he performed this one.

Yet, it was true in the 80s, 90s, 00s and today.

He screamed for years for people to wake up, yet they chose to stay in The Matrix.

I think we still are.

Hi dear.. Where yoy found this clip.. Its so funny.. Thanx for sharing.. Funny and wise

George Carlin was awesome. "It's a red, white and blue, all American circle jerk." "It's all bullshit folks!" He just called it how he saw it. There was a recent discussion on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast about who the greatest stand-up comedian of all-time, and Richard Pryor is who they went with. They're logic was that while George Carlin was funny, he was more a social commentator than pure stand-up comedian. The older he got, the more bitter and honest he got. Personally, I think he's absolutely hilarious, one of the best! Thanks for this post.
