Internal Connections

These works represent/picture the struggle of every parent with a child suffering from Congenital Heart Defect (CHD). This is not an easy trail for each family member as they face heartbreaks each day.

Each picture signifies the strong family bond. In times of difficulties, both mother and father unselfishly protect their child.

The child -vulnerable and innocent- willingly let her parents take care of her. Overall, these pieces portray never ending hope, love and faith.

Hope, that despite every trial, there will always be a positive outcome.

Love, the only thing that keeps each of you going.

Faith, that the Almighty Father will take care of everything. His mercy will be the family's foundation in every painful events.

The Rib Cage

The first to open and last to close upon operation. This is the strongest protection of all of our internal organs. Same as how the parents keep safe of their children, may you have a physical defects or none. They (parents) serve as a safe cage. ❤

The Heart

As you can see in the piece, the mother safely hugs her child, forming like a heart. This work symbolizes the unending love of a mother to her child, that no matter what, a Mom's love will conquer every pain her child feels as they both share the same heartbeat. ❤

The Lungs

We experience different kinds of miracles in our daily living. And in times of extreme difficulties, faith is only what we can hold on to. Believing that the Creator won't leave and forsake us. Every breath symbolizes God's love for us. Parents are His tools in helping us thru life, leading and guiding us toward His ultimate plan for us. And this is the reason of our existence - to exist for Him. ❤
