after "the phantom menace" i was pretty much done.... Lucas had begun politicizing the movies, and creating political correctness where there wasn't a need in the films... the last installment was difficult to follow as a storyline. it was also very weak on the action.... which, lets face it... is the real reason we fell in love with the films in the first place.. you know, the fantastic space battles, epic lightsabre duels, and badass robots.. now we get less action and robots that look like a soccer ball... IDK... but i think george lucas is getting soft in his old age...

I cringed all the way through The Force Awakens.
It was a pure cash grab, and the Jewish producer, J.J. Abrams, must have thought, 'why not throw in some more anti-nazi black-male+white-female propaganda, the goys will buy it no matter what, because Star Wars.'
Stereotype, yes, but they exist for a reason. I like to think that not all Jews in positions of power outside Israel are cancerous... maybe I'm being naive. I know the reality of group dynamics, but still think people should be judged as individuals. Lucas himself sold out after the original trilogy, but the The Force Awakens is the worst installment of the Star Wars series yet. Rogue One was a surprise in that it was a better Star Wars film than all but the original trilogy, but it was directed by a Welshman, Gareth Edwards. Rouge One was also forced to stay within the storyline boundaries of the original trilogy, allowing the action we love to feature front and centre.
