Choosing a leader isn't easy. Many lead in their own unique way. the only advice I'd give is that you need to choose a leader who ideally has a passion for that particular work.

Agreed. And here, I am mentioning the basic qualities. Everybody will lead in his own way but we can't forget some key qualities every great leader should possess.
