Star Wars: The Last Jedi Panel Discussion

in starwars •  7 years ago

Have you seen Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi yet? If so, you might be interested to watch this panel discussion I hosted with several friends of mine for Signum University and the Mythgard Institute.

We had a really good time talking about all of the nuances of the film, and discussing where it fits among the whole Star Wars galaxy. We mostly focused on the movies, but we get into some of the other (new) canon materials, as well as a bit of the EU/Legends stuff.

It's a 2-hour+ long conversation, but you can listen to it while doing other things. We have a presentation deck we go through, but you only need to look at it every now and then. There isn't much need to actually view it.

So give it a watch – or a listen – while you're at work or wherever. And let me know what you think of the points we make during the video. (I'm the talking head at the top!)

We're going to be doing panels on other films in the future, as well. Our next one is coming up on February 22, and we'll be talking about The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. You can register to attend live here (it's free!). We'll be putting out a schedule for the rest of the year soon, as well.

For more information about these panels, visit the Mythgard Movie Club web page.
