Designing my main character for my new childrens storybook

in stateofthearts •  7 years ago

So about a week ago I made this post which had 2 pages of illustration from a book I was thinking of making.

I have already written it but was pondering with taking the time to illustrate it. I have never had a book published, I'm unsure how to get one published and I didn't feel very confident. However kind, positive comments I got from lovely Steemians on here, and a reply from an author on Twitter have convinced me it is worth pursuing. So I'm thinking 'hey let's go for it'.

So I have started to sketch out what I think the main character should look like. His name is Waldo and he is a wizard.

Not sure whether I should go with the green or the blue version? Any constructive criticism would be gratefully welcomed. Thanks for viewing and any help in advance...
Peace!

Both good versions, I would probably lean towards the blue one.

Thanks for that, appreciate it. Blue is the one I am leaning towards especially as there will be a lot of green in the backgrounds. The blue would stand out more. Wishing you well :)
