CryptoKitties Game Review - Lets collect digital Cats

Introduction

From childhood, I have memories of playing a lot of games, because my father had a PlayStation store back then. I remember how professional I use to be in Counter-Strike 1.6 too, but as time passed I stopped playing games and focused on real life. Since then I became so connected with Social Media and World wide web, by the time I was hearing about blockchain technology, moreover I got to know what is the main purpose of it. With the incentive of @oracle-d and @stateofthedapps I saw many great Games using Blockchain technology, under Games Category in website of State of the DApps. Now I know that there are a lot of games that are based on different blockchains networks. But I never had a chance to try any of these games before. I do love cats, this is why CryptoKitties is a game that I want to know what it is about, how it works and share my thoughts with you.

What is CryptoKitties?

CryptoKitties is a game that is based on the Ethereum Blockchain. Also, it is listed in the State of The DApps and is in the 30th place from the ranking from the whole submitted dapps. It is centered around breedable, collectible, and oh-so-adorable creatures as they are called CryptoKitties! Each person owns the virtual cat 100%, it cannot be replaced or destroyed. To create a furry digital cat in the blockchain, make your first step to breed your rarest cat. All of the cats are rare because they have a combination of "cattributes". This is why they are all unique and have a unique look and are stored as non-fundible tokens. Once you own a digital cat, you can trade, sell and purchase your cat with any other digital assets.

For the fact, this game uses the collectible representation, and the most expensive CryptoKitty ever purchased sold for $110,707 to a willing buyer, people spend 24 million USD on kitties, because of the transactions this game even slowed down the Ethereum Network.

The CryptoKitties have a simple but attractive website, but the first thing I saw when opened the website is that the Website is not secure, I guess it misses the SSL certificate. For such a great project this part should be a must to fix.

To continue playing the game you have to start with the MetaMask connecting the game because MetaMask is like the SteemConnect for the Ethereum Blockchain, which connects in the most secure way.
After connected the main aim is to get the Kitty or the cat and breed the cat. There are steps that are very clearly explained for breeding the digital cat with the tutorials.

These steps are very important to know in order to understand the purpose of the game and how does it work, I shared all the Steps for you so you can see how the steps go. Also, there is a place showing what is the quality of the Network at the time, because of the number of transactions in the Ethereum Network. Additionally, there is a Community feed showing live how the community or people that are playing the game make their own purchases and how they are breeding their digital cats. While playing the game there are also sounds which are very effective and done very carefully and professionally.

Conclusion

I love these latest Kitties that can be purchased for the given amount of the Ethereum, they look so sweet. One more thing that worries me is the overprices. But these digital cats are so sweet, even there is presenting video in the YouTube posted by Vox, called "Why people are buying cartoon cats on the blockchain" and has a lot of views
