Etheremon is yet another exciting crypto game I have come across. Where in the world have I been to learn of such a game? Anyway forgive my excitement, Etheremon is the topic of the day.
What is Etheremon?
This is the very first game opening an era of Game 3.0. The game concept is exceptional; involving a world of Mons (Etheremons) where you can capture, train, transform and trade them with others. Etheremon is offering a unique gaming experience designed through a combination of Blockchain and Virtual Reality Technology. It’s the very first game where you actually own the assets which no one can influence or steal from you and see them operating like in the real world.
I like the fact that this game brings back value to the user courtesy of its decentralized ecosystem. Why should I invest my time and money in a game where I gain nothing from? With Etheremon, this query is satisfied due to the fact that all the values generated belong to the users. Let’s take a look at the 2 main ways a user can generate value from Etheremon;
Training Monsters and Sell them for profit
In order to accumulate more value from your monsters, you need to subject them to more intense training. You begin with level 1 monsters which are available in the game store. The good news is that these little ones can evolve and lay eggs when you take them through training. Note that most of the monsters are limited in supply whereby if all those monsters are bought, they will only be available on the trade market. The value of the monsters is also driven up by their scarcity over time.
Mining EMONT Token
Can you imagine? You can also earn Cryptocurrency by simply playing this game. It’s such a great opportunity to the crypto enthusiasts like me. Ethermon has an in-game Cryptocurrency known as EMONT. This is an ERC-20 token that is capped at 20 million tokens that are to be issued. The sooner someone joins and participates in this game is the more EMONTs he can mine. The positive side of these tokens is that accumulating them brings you great value as you can trade them for Ether or use them in-game and in the future when these turn out to be the only currency in-game, there increasing demand will drive up the value of the tokens that you hold.
The Game Concept
Game players, or MonSeekers (refers to game players) interact with the smart contracts on the Ethereum network to achieve three goals:
Capturing Etheremon limited virtual monsters issued on the Ethereum network, to complete your collections.
Training Etheremon to lay eggs, transform them to new species to sell or lend them to other MonSeekers.
Battling with other MonSeekers in various game modes (gym battle, castle battles, practice and tournaments) to collect EMONT (an in-game currency ERC-20 token). source
What you can do with your etheremons
- Start off by taking your ethermon to the gym. In the gym, there are trainers who help your ethermon to gain some more EXP in order to be strong enough for the real battle with other players.
- Then team up your ethermons and bring them to the hills to build your own castle or to challenge other standing ones.
- When they get to a certain level, some of them gain the ability to transform with the help of their ancestors.
Some others attain the ability to lay eggs by spending a lot of their EXP in the process. The eggs later hatch into Etheremons of the same kind.
My personal experience
I am trying out this game. I have so far caught one monster(Kyali). I named her Zippower. I am going to take her to the gym and later to the battles.
The negative side of this game is that the website at times slows down and kind of delays to load things. Otherwise the website is a well organised one and eye catching which shows professionalism among the developers of this game.
In conclusion, i recommend every gamer and crypto enthusiast out there to try out this game. Its an interesting one. You can signup for this game using my referral link below. We shall all get 5 EMONTS when you do so.
