Background Info

I have extracted the data using api.steemit.com and the following api call:

payload = '{"id":4,"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"call","params":["database_api","get_discussions_by_created", [{"tag":"' + tag + '","limit":100}]]}'

I am using pandas library. Pandas is an open source and is designed for Python users for data analysis and manipulation.

Cool..nice info...btw what is the unique partisipants?

Β  Β· Β 7 years agoΒ

thanks! unique participants are the number of people entering the competition, not the number of times they have submitted something. many times people would submit more than one post a day, hence there are duplicates in the list of authors. So, I call the unique function to sort it out!

Thank you!

Thursday was a bad day for the photocontest, but I think due to terrific weather ... it was beautiful last thursday, so not a day to stay inside, but a day to enjoy the sun and activities outside. At least it was here that way.

Yeah, Thursday looks odd, but I think it was the day when Steemit was down. And it was the best day in the UK as well! πŸ˜ƒ

Study material :) Thank's for sharing!
