For #StatueFriday (#SevenDaysOutside Challenge) by @erikah, I bring you this cool statue, located in front of a Casino, in Madrid.
This cool looking sculpture was offered to the city in 2014 by the Gran Madrid Casino, in order to celebrate the return of Casinos to Madrid, after a long 90 years ban decreed by the dictator Franco Salazar, during the 1920's.
Frogs are a symbol of good fortune in many cultures around the world, particularly in the Chinese Feng Shui tradition. In other countries - including here in Portugal - a frog's leg is also a good luck's symbol. It's not uncommon to find these symbols at small markets and fairs, in the shape of small hand carved amulets.
What is the most known amulet or good luck charm, in your country? Over here, it's the 4 Leaf Clover and the Rabbit's Leg. Don't ask me why, though...

I lived 20 years in Italy and on August will be my 19th years in England, I do have the desire to move again and spend 20 years or 10+10 elsewhere.
As for my Middle Eastern energy, I can only say it may be in my DNA - who knows - the world is a fascinating place. Shame for narrow-minded-greedy-inspired barriers, it makes us all in one way or an other miserable - point of view and contest applied.
