In this straight to the point walkthrough guide/post I want to show you how to upload images to your SteemIt post, using nothing but your Facebook account.
I previously used sites such as “imgsafe.org”, as it was recommended by other SteemIt users. However, I just find it a lot easier to use Facebook, and at least this way I have a little more control over my images over using “imgsafe.org”.
So this is just going to be a quick two step guide. If you have any questions, issues, or just want to thank me (joking!), you can pop a comment below. Enjoy!
Step One: Upload Your Image(s) To Your Facebook Profile
So this is super simple. Just head over to your Facebook account, and onto your profile page where you have the option to post onto your profile.
From there just select which image you want to upload from your computer, and upload it. Now, you can set your photos to private (only you can see them), which I do for all my SteemIt images as there specific for SteemIt only. I don’t want to share them elsewhere.
So that’s the first step!
Step Two: Obtain The Image URL To Insert On SteemIt
Now your image is uploaded onto Facebook, click on the image then right click on it and select “copy image address”.
Once you’ve done that, head over to SteemIt and click the “image” icon within the editor, then paste your image address from Facebook into there. Your image should now be uploaded onto SteemIt, using Facebook!
That’s Everything For This Short Walkthrough Post
So there we have it, how to upload images to your SteemIt post using nothing but your Facebook profile. Now I believe this may work for videos, however, I haven’t tried this myself. Let me know if you do!
By the way, if you have any questions feel free to ask away. Other than that, see you in my next post!
Cool

One question @ravinderdeol: if you post an image in this way, does it indicate your Facebook page? In other words, can people trace the image back to your personal FB page? I ask because I prefer to keep my identity anonymous. I write about things here that I wouldn't want people in my life to know about.

As long as you set the image to private, so only you can view it there should be no issue. I've never had a Facebook connection see my posts.

No problem at all! I had the issue with other sites as well, this is just a much easier method.
