PlayWeed started pre-registering the Steam PC Cafe service on April 1st. For the next one month, we will receive membership registration for PC rooms nationwide, and will begin official service in May. However, only games that have completed the service contract can be played. Now, compared to the time of the trial service, it is much closer to completion. The game lineup still expand. Also, They set the service subscription fees.
Service & Fee
Steam PC Cafe is operated by a paid affiliate method. This is a method where PC room owners purchase integrated usage time and deduct the paid game cost from customers who play Steam games. The price is not very expensive. A membership fee of around $600 per 2500 hours has been set. Therefore, there seems to be no big difference from the regular paid game fee.
Which Game?
Steam PC Cafe’s Steam game plans to operate the service on a seasonal basis. In the demonstration phase, there are 27 games. Overall, it consists of universal games that will suit different tastes. For the current lineup, opinions of PC room owners and users are divided.
When will start?
The most worrying part is when it comes to service. This is because the current situation is not as hot as expected due to the spread of Corona 19. In addition, there are opinions that active promotion is necessary as many PC cafe owners are not aware of the existence of Steam PC Cafe.
