Steemit has been my most succesful scouting mission to date

in steamdollars •  8 years ago

when i signed up to steemit yesterday, It was purely as a scouting mission for the free Christmas group I'm a member of . It's a fairly small facebook group with a couple of hundred members who spend a little time each day using online earning sites to earn enough for our families to have a wonderful Christmas without spending a penny of our regular incomes. This year we have a challenge to earn £1200 with a daily target of earning £3.28 or more to achieve it.

Usually scouting out a new earning site is a pretty lengthy process it can take weeks (occasionally months)and hundreds of surveys/ reviews or tasks to reach the required payout levels and receive any earnings before heading back to the group to let them know about it.

With that in mind I signed up and got settled in for the long haul, read as much as i could to work out how the site work,s before writing a quick test post i thought members of the our group would find useful, before heading to bed at what can only be described as stupid o'clock in the morning.

When i woke up I logged on expecting to see a few fractions of a penny on the post, but no it was a whopping $220 that's well over £60, amazed i thought about all the survey's I wasn't going to have to do to meet this months target. And now I'm getting ready to go to bed with over $400 (roughly £240) sitting on that post I'm absolutely astounded.

Having found a lot of scam sites in the past I'll admit to taking everything said here with a bucket of salt but now I'm pretty much sold that steemit is for life not just for christmas.

But before that I have to work out the simplest way to cashout those steamdollars and use a bitcoin wallet.

Hey, If you find a simple way to cashout please let me know. It seems a tad complicated and most explanations include blockchain, power down/up and random words!

Awesome, thank you. This and the other video make it look a lot more do-able than it previously seemed! I am going to hang onto my meagre amount for the moment but this has given me a bit of confidence! Good finding!

your welcome, blocktraders doesn't have steem as an option for some reason today but there are other exchanges you can use.

from what i have worked out so far you don't need to worry about powering down yet. (you might want to power up if your not in a situation where you need the cash to get by)
I've been reading for hours and still not entirely sure about the rest of it.I'm heading over to youtube to look for a vid that might help. I'll reply with a link if i find one.
