Steemseph Trains and Steel Parade 06122018

This is the hyperlapsed video I took of a train that went forward and then back again in front of me, while I was on my way to perform.

"Steemseph Trains and Steel Parade 06122018"

This is my first post with DTube! I had to convert the file and pull it down for Dropbox and then use my laptop to upload the file.

The music in that video comes from a live broadcast. It's a small segment of a musical moment known as a "vamp." I get a chance to practice playing hypnotically by staying groovy and holding the song in place until we all agree to continue though the song's form.

Look!

We are having a monthly public performance this Friday 06/22/2018.

Thanks for reading and thanks for the support. I'm gonna figure out how to make DTube work best for me. Stream lining will be a priority. Broadcasting with Dlive and my iphone will be another priority... i feel like i've tried already though... i think i get an error...

Upvoted for post excellence! LOL My kids love to watch trains watch this https://busy.org/@futurefarmers/f4n2u7lq

Yes, shit posted by accident. I don't know why i thought something different would happen. I only wanted this video to be part of my next post. Seemed like a good alternative to youtube. I learned a lot and my approach will be different next time.

That was a big tractor. Cute kids, i'm glad ya'll didn't get out. When I was a kid, my friends and I occasionally played near the railroad tracks in the woods. We stopped after a one armed guy form the local railroad did a presentation at our school.
Heard stories that conductors carried BB guns too... probably an urban legend?

That is true but they don't have conductors anymore. Growing up a friend of mines dad was a conductor.
I spent many days playing near tracks as well. Trying to find the strap metal to make whistles with.
After you post on D.tube you can edit it on steemit.

Yeah, only one conductor in that video of yours, right?

About editing on Steemit, I kinda did.
I also noticed an entire section called "Steem Article body." Looks like markup will work in there. I wonder if Wordpress format will work in Dtube too. I'll try that next time... I'm probably going to prefer editing in Steemit though. Just thinking about the process makes me wonder if i'll like the format freedom in the DTube's text fields.

I think they call the Engineer of the train a Railroad Engineer he is the one that drives the train.

The one that used to be called the conductor is a guy who used to ride in a Caboose at the rear of the train. I dont see a Coboose very often any more. Now they will have an diesel locomotive on front and back of a very long train. This is a typical picture of a standard caboose.

The caboose also served as the conductor's office, and on long routes included accommodation and cooking facilities.

The responsibilities of a conductor in North America and of a guard in Commonwealth English typically include the following:
Making sure the train stays on schedule
Ensuring that any cars and cargo are picked up and dropped off properly
Completing en-route paperwork
Ensuring the train follows applicable safety rules and practices
Directing the train's movement while operating in reverse
Coupling or uncoupling cars
Assisting with setting out or picking up of rolling stock
Ticket collection and other customer service duties
Opening and closing passenger car doors

He worked some brakes, watched from the rear, might be asked to do some switching of the tracks in far out areas. I am sure they carried more than a BB gun most of the time.

When d.tube works for us we add some text then post it then edit in steemit to add more pictures and other things

I thought those names were used interchangeably. I had no idea that those names were specific to their position on the train.
