The Effect of Covid-19 on My Little Business.

The streets are almost empty except for the few people who are trying to get to grocery stores or just take a stroll, a lot of businesses have had to close down and as a business owner myself, I cannot but get worried about the negative impact of this pandemic.

A week before the spread of the virus got to my country, activities was still going on well and no one had an idea about any pandemic taking over the nation that was going to result in the restriction of movements and stop businesses.

My business is located in a student region, which means there is usually a good turnout whenever student are in section, students were supposed to resume the following week, so I got some loan to quickly stock up with the plans that, there was going to be fast sales and I will pay back in no time.

After one week however, we were given the sad news that the spread of coronavirus has started affecting our dear country and in order to stop the spread, businesses had to close down, students travelled back home since school also closed up. I immediately obeyed because safety is much more important, but the fear that has constantly filled my mind is what will happen after the pandemic.

I have some goods that might get expired any moment from now, which means I may have to discard them when the pandemic is over, after discarding those items, how do I raise money to pay back those loans I have obtained from people. I really cannot help but keep thinking about what will happen. I believe in miracles and I am still expecting one to happen soon.
