"Could a small proportion of the #Steem Rewards Pool be distributed to those in financial need, supporting families and individuals through these difficult times?"

Poorest countries hit hard during these financially challenging times

It can be easily done by reaching out to those that may be struggling financially in some of the poorest countries hit hard during these financially challenging times.

Families and individuals that are struggling to put food on the table could share with the #Steem Community their Blogs using the #steem-angel tag.

Those willing to help, will effectively be able to support them by rewarding their Blogs with up-votes, hence the term #steem-angel.

No fancy coding, no new accounts and no instructions

There is no fancy coding required, no new accounts that needs creating and no instructions.

Anyone, anywhere in the World, can simply reach out to the #Steem Community using the #steem-angel tag seeking help and it will be up to the Community to provide the level and support that they feel is needed.

It will be a great way of using the #Steem Blockchain to direct a little financial help where it is most needed at the moment.

Thanks again for reading.

This is really a great idea, I will be resteeming the post immediately for better visibility.

What a wonderful idea!

An excellent way for Steemit and other cryptos to come to the aid of those in need in these difficult times.

Good idea but I don't know how you would check the honesty of people asking for the help.

That's where the Community comes in.

Let the Community decide if they are actually genuinely in need of help.

Personally, I would much rather give x10 families $1.00 each if it means they can put food on the table rather than $10.00 to one person who doesn't really need it.

Sounds good 👍
