I made these four pieces of artworks for an art show called 'ART EXPO MALAYSIA PLUS'. It was held at the Matrade Exhibition And Convention Centre Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last 12th to 15th October 2017.

This was by far the most prestigious event I have ever participated in. It was an honor for me to get a recognition from the fine art community to include such a small-time illustrator like me into a big event like this. But I felt so small though as my artworks were only digital prints of some silly cartoony illustrations while everything else there were either traditional fine art paintings, sculptures or some other usual artsy stuffs you would find in art galleries. I always feel like I'm not 'artistic' enough to be part of these kind of 'art events'. Regardless of that, I was fairly proud and humbled by this experience at the same time.

My artworks were curated by a local art gallery called 'City Art Gallery'.

'The Peculiar Malayan Tigers'

"This painting cleverly uses the mascot of Malaysia, which is tiger, to represent characteristics of some Malaysians have, which can have enormous rooms for improvements. Only through the realization of some of our debilitating traits, are we able to correct them and be a better person, in order to continue to make our society a better place to live."
