Hello fellow steemians, i made this little observation and i wish to share it.
Most steemian belong to many chat group with the interest of only dropping their post link without contributing to the welfare of the the group. Now my question is if all of us have such selfish interest, who will read each others post?

MY ADVICE TO ALL STEEM CHAT ROOMS

If people fail to be responsible, we can install thing that will indirectly make them maintain proper decorum.
What do i mean by this, i noticed blockchain bloggers @ click and blue wave discord group, the management is doing a great job @ogochukwu in that if you want to drop a link you have to read and comment on at least two or three post, and moderators are standby to check if the person really commented on the post, if the person does not the post link will be deleted.

This moderators could be rewarded through SBD made from group project post 'my suggestion'. At blockchain bloggers and blue wave discord group If you drop your link there you are sure of upvotes and comments.

Other groups can as well apply this method, because this will help to decentralize steemit as a result people will start reading post from different groups as most can't do without sharing their link.

So I urge all the groups below to answer this call
-United African,
-Airhawk peace,
-Abundant liberty (PAL).
-Steemgigs.
-Steem bloggers.
-Sunday Podcast.
-Etc

That could work. In the Writer's Block Discord group, we can't drop links. We have to go through another process for people to view our links and such. That way, the chat isn't bombarded by links and important ones don't get buried by the more recent chat posts.

Thanks for for reading, i believe with our ideas we can make steem a better place

Hello @binkyprod

Can you explain that In more detail, I am looking for a Way to also Implement proper post Promotion in My Steemit WhatsApp Group.

@ogochukwu

Well, when I had a link to share with the Writer's Group, there was a sticky post explaining the procedure. Basically, they had provided a link, where I would write my Steemit name, my Discord name, the title of my post, the link to my post, and other info. That data, once submitted, went to a Spreadsheet. I don't know how they managed to make that do it like that, you'd have to ask someone at the Writer's Block.

Then, I had do another procedure if I wanted them to access my post and make comments, so that required a separate google docs, for editor to input my writing.

The Writer's Block has its own account. You should reach out to them and ask them how they implemented their system for the data to go automatically to a spreadsheet. I'm sure they'll be more than happy to share with you some of the tricks they've picked up along the way ;)

I think your idea is good, but i have one reservation with this. I scroll through the articles on discord and those that interest me, like this one, I will open up and read. I also go through the FB pages and apply the same principle. Why would I need to leave even more comments about the same thing on Discord? I am sure that other people do apply the same principle. This process is very time consuming and as I am all for team building and suporting each other I do that by leaving valuable feedback on that which interest me. if you try to force people to leave even more comments, which they may not really have the time to do (like me I run a Bed and Breakfast and dont have endless time at my disposal) then people will leave meaningless comments all over over the place. I think we need to be a little careful about just how much we expect of people, and please lets not implement too many rules and regualtions here, this is supposed to be fun! Anyway, thats just my opinion. Have a great day!

you made a point but most people don't read post like you, remember my point below

Most steemian belong to many chat group with the interest of only dropping their post link without contributing to the welfare of the the group. Now my question is if all of us have such selfish interest, who will read each others post?

I feel there should be rules but not too strict.

Exactly my thoughts bro. We have to borrow a leaf from principles that work. If its part of a community's rules then the member will understand that and abide by it. Its very important that all members of a community communicate and collaborate towards the betterment of their individual and community goals.

That way, noone's post gets ignored. Everyone is rewarded and everyone is happy. Also you get to make wonderful friends along the way.

The issue of people leaving meaningless comments is their own cup of tea. Me I try as much as I can to create value and leave evryone one better than I found them. If anyone has other selfish goals...they will weed out in the long run.

Welldone for the suggestion and I wish that all the groups you have mentioned will actually listen and adopt this method. Thanks!

#hug-challenge!

if you want to drop a link you have to read and comment on at least two or three post

Yes, I'm on BlockchainBloggers (as you know) and theunmentionable, both have similar requirements. These are the only two post promotions channels I use where I find actual interaction. I have found all other #post-promotion channels are a waste of time and I think most people view it as spam - which is a shame. It's not spam, it's time and energy, often worthy of a look. @ironshield

Thanks for your observation sir, i like your blog and i will always keep in touch @theheralds

And likewise!
